We run M S Pine Pharma Pvt Ltd out of a first-floor space in the Dda Flats at Madangir. The address is 11 273, and we’ve been here in New Delhi 62 for a good while. It’s a residential-feeling area, so it doesn't look like a big industrial pharmacy company from the outside. Inside, it’s mostly just rooms filled with boxes and some desks for the paperwork. We don’t have a fancy showroom or anything like that. We spend most of our time talking to suppliers and making sure the medicine gets where it’s supposed to go. It’s a lot of inventory checking and keeping track of batches. Sometimes the stairs up to the first floor are a bit of a climb when we’re carrying stuff, but we’re used to it. The office is often a bit cluttered with order forms and packing tape. We aren't the type to use big business jargon or have meetings that last for hours. We just get the orders in and send the supplies out. It’s a simple operation, run by a small group of people who just want to do their jobs and head home. The fans hum all day, and we usually have the radio playing softly in the background. We’re just local people working in the pharma trade, keeping things moving in our little corner of Madangir. It is quiet work but someone has to do it.
