Lakshmi Arts

You can find Lakshmi Arts right in the middle of the bustle at Shop No. 20 in Ram Nagar Market. We are on Qutab Road, which is really close to the New Delhi Railway Station in Paharganj. It’s a very busy part of town, so there is always a lot of noise from the trains and the crowds outside. Our shop is small and packed with all the things we use for our art work and projects. Being so close to the station means we see a lot of travelers passing by, but most of our regulars are locals who have been coming to us for years. The walls are covered with samples and old frames, and there isn't much room to move around once a few people come inside. We usually have some tea going and the radio playing in the background while we work. It’s not the most organized place, but we know where everything is kept. Paharganj has its own energy, and we have become part of that fabric over time. We handle different kinds of artistic jobs, whatever comes our way really. Some days are slow and we just sit and talk, while other days we are working late into the evening to finish a piece. It is a straightforward life here in the market, just making things and talking to the neighbors who stop by. We have been here for years and the shop has seen a lot of changes.
