L Opera

If you go to Khan Market and look for Shop No - 5 B, you will find us there. L Opera is a small place, and it gets quite cramped when the lunch crowd starts coming in. Khan Market is always full of people, and there is a lot of noise from the street, but inside the shop, it feels a bit different. We spend the morning setting everything up, making sure the counters are clean and the displays look okay. It is not a very big space, so we have to be efficient with how we move around each other. We are not some big corporate chain with thousands of rules; we just try to get the orders right and keep the place tidy. I spend a lot of time wiping down tables and talking to the regulars who come in every day at the same time. The floor is old and has some scratches, but it adds character to the place. We don't have a fancy back office, so most of our work happens right there behind the counter. It can be stressful when the queue goes out the door, but we just take it one person at a time. By the time we close up the shop in the evening, the market is still buzzing, but we are ready to head home. It is a good spot to be in, right in the middle of all that action.
