L. C. Traders

L. C. Traders operates out of H/No.D-15 in Panjabu Basti, which is in the Nangloi area. This is a residential and commercial mix of a neighborhood. Our place is basically a part of the house that we’ve converted for the business. It’s not a big corporate office, just a room with enough space for our stock and a small table where we do the accounts. Panjabu Basti is a tight-knit community. We know most of the families living on this street. The kids play outside in the evenings, and there is always someone stopping by just to say hello or ask a quick question. It can get a bit crowded in our workspace when we have a new shipment coming in. We have to move things around to make everything fit. It’s a bit of a puzzle sometimes. We don’t have a fancy website or a marketing team. We just rely on the fact that we’ve been here for a while and people know they can find us at D-15. The lighting isn't always the best, so we use a couple of extra lamps when it gets dark outside. It’s a humble setup, but it’s ours. We handle the trading work ourselves, from packing boxes to talking to the delivery guys. It’s a lot of manual work and long hours, but we prefer it this way. It feels more personal to us and our neighbors.
