L C Jewellery has been at No-202 on Bank Street in Karol Bagh for quite a while now. Bank Street is always crowded with people looking for something special, and our little shop is right there in the mix. The space inside is quite narrow, but we have glass cases lined up along the walls that catch the light. We keep things very clean because even a little bit of dust shows up under the bright bulbs we use. There is a small safe in the back and a couple of stools where customers can sit while they look at different pieces. It can get pretty loud outside with the street vendors and the traffic, but inside it stays relatively quiet. We spend a lot of our time polishing things or helping people figure out what they want for a wedding or a gift. Sometimes someone just comes in for a small repair on a chain they’ve had for years. We handle everything with the same steady hands. The air conditioner hums in the background, trying its best to fight off the Karol Bagh heat. We don't use any big advertisements or flashy slogans; people usually find us because they’ve heard about us from a neighbor or because they were just walking down Bank Street. It’s a simple business built on being here every day and doing the work.
