L & R Infraprojects

You can find us in the basement at B2/15 in Vashisth Park. We are right opposite Janak Cinema, so it is quite easy to tell people how to get here. Since the office is downstairs, it actually stays a little cooler during the peak of the Delhi summer, which we all appreciate. L & R Infraprojects is where we handle the planning and all the boring paperwork that goes into our various projects. The room is usually crowded with rolls of blueprints and stacks of files that have been there for months. It isn't the most polished office you’ll ever see, but we know where everything is tucked away. You can hear the cars and buses outside, and when a popular movie is playing at Janak Cinema, the street gets really packed. We usually have a small radio playing to drown out some of the city noise. The tea stall on the corner is our main stop in the morning, and sometimes we stand out on the sidewalk just to get a bit of fresh air and sun. Dealing with infrastructure means there is always a bit of a mess with schedules and material orders, so the phones are always ringing off the hook. It’s a small group of us, and we’ve been working from this basement for quite a while now. We don't have a big neon sign, just a small board near the entrance. It’s just a normal job, trying to keep everything on track while we deal with the city life.
