Harsh Creation

You’ll find us at I-52-A Krishna Vihar. It’s a residential sort of area, so it’s not like being in the middle of a big market. Harsh Creation started out small and we’ve just stayed here. We do a lot of different work depending on what people ask for. It’s mostly about making things look right, whether it’s fabric or other materials we’re working with that day. The space is usually full of stuff we’re currently putting together. It can get a bit loud when the machines are going. We don’t have a big team, just a few of us making sure everything gets finished on time. Krishna Vihar is a good spot for us because it’s easy for folks to drop by without the hassle of city center parking. We aren't trying to be some high-end boutique or anything like that. We just do the work as it comes in. Sometimes it’s a big order, sometimes it’s just someone needing a small thing done. We’ve got our routine down now. Every morning starts with a cup of chai and then we get to it. The address is pretty easy to find once you get into the block. We’ve been at this for a while and the neighbors know us. It’s a simple setup but it works for what we do. We like the hands-on part of the job the most. It gets messy with scraps and thread, but that's just part of the process.
