We are set up at Plot No 426 in the Main Bazar area, right near the Sabzi Mandi. It is a very lively spot to be in every day. If you are looking for us, we are close to Robin Cinema, which everyone around here knows. Being near the vegetable market means it is always crowded and there is a lot of shouting and moving around outside our doors. Inside, we try to keep things a bit more organized, but with all the interior samples and catalogs we have, it gets crowded in here too. We spend a lot of time looking at fabrics and wood finishes under the lights to see how they actually look. The building is an old one, and the stairs are a bit narrow, but it has been our base for quite a while now. We usually have the radio playing quietly in the background to drown out some of the noise from the bazar. Most of the work involves sketching out ideas and talking to people about what they want for their homes or shops. It is a hands-on kind of place. We don't have a fancy showroom, just a bunch of desks and shelves full of materials. Sometimes the smell of the market comes in, but we are used to it by now. It is just the reality of working in the heart of the bazar.
