Abaxis Interior Pvt. Ltd. is located in the basement of B-78 in Dayanand Colony. This is over in the Lajpat Nagar IV area. Being in a basement means the office stays relatively cool even during the peak of the Delhi summer, which we appreciate. It is not a huge space, but it serves our needs perfectly. We have it set up with all our drafting tables and a small corner for sitting down with people. Dayanand Colony is mostly a residential area, so it feels quite peaceful and quiet compared to the main market blocks nearby. We like the silence because it really helps us focus on our design work without too many distractions. We have been here for a while and most of the local residents know we are here. The office is usually filled with samples of laminate, wood pieces, and different types of hardware. It can get a bit cluttered, especially when we are in the middle of a big project and things are moving fast. We do not really have a fancy entrance or a sign. You just come down the stairs and you are right in the middle of our workspace. We don't use any corporate jargon or have big mission statements. We just enjoy the process of making interiors look a bit better. Most of our day is spent sketching or talking to contractors. It is a very hands-on and practical business for us down here.
