Our office for Koenig Solutions Pvt Ltd is actually inside Mount Everest Appartment. It is Flat No A35, located in Sector 9, Plot No 17 in Dwarka, New Delhi 110075. Working out of an apartment building gives things a much more personal feel than a typical office block. It’s quieter here, which is nice when you need to concentrate on technical work. Most of the people in the building are families, so we try to keep the noise down and just go about our business. You have to sign in at the gate sometimes, but once you’re in, it’s pretty easy to find A35. The flat is converted into a workspace with desks and computers everywhere. It feels like a home-office because it basically is one. We make our own coffee in the small kitchen and usually eat lunch together in the main room. It’s a bit different from the bigger corporate setups, but it works for us. We have all the files and equipment we need tucked into the different rooms. It’s a bit tight when we have a lot of people over, but we manage just fine. Being in Sector 9 is great because the metro is nearby and there are plenty of parks around. It’s a comfortable place to spend the day, even if it’s just a regular flat on paper. We’ve been here for a while and the neighbors don't mind us much. It is just a simple, quiet place to work.
