K.L. Seth @ Associates(C.A Firm)

We are located over at J-813 on Kaliwari Marg. It’s a central spot in New Delhi, which makes it convenient for people to stop in. K.L. Seth @ Associates is a small CA firm where we handle the usual accounting stuff. Most of our day is spent looking at spreadsheets and making sure all the columns add up correctly. It’s not a flashy office by any means. We have our desks, our files, and enough tea to keep us going through the afternoon. The 110001 area is always moving fast, but inside here, things are a bit more focused on the details. People bring us their financial records, and we go through them one by one. There’s a lot of talk about regulations and new laws, so we spend time reading up on that too. We don’t really do big marketing; most people just know we’re here on Kaliwari Marg. It’s a lot of heads-down work. Sometimes a client comes in and we just sit and talk through their tax situation for an hour. It’s practical work. We deal with audits and bookkeeping without trying to sound like we’re in a boardroom. It’s just how we operate. The building has been here for a long time, and so have we. It’s a steady place to work, even when the tax deadlines are breathing down our necks and everything feels a bit rushed. We just stick to the numbers and make sure everything is filed properly.
