K.K.Jha & Co. is tucked away in Block A of Nehru Vihar, right near Timar Pur. Our address is A-389, and it's pretty easy to find once you're in the neighborhood. We spend most of our time dealing with tax forms and audit reports for people around here. It’s a quiet enough spot most of the year, but tax season changes that real quick. There’s always someone coming in with a folder full of receipts or asking about their GST. We don’t go in for big presentations or anything like that. It’s mostly just us at our desks, working through the numbers. New Delhi - 54 is a busy area, but our corner of Nehru Vihar feels a bit more settled. Being chartered accountants means we see a lot of the same faces every year. We help out with the stuff people don’t want to do themselves, like the government filings and balance sheets. Sometimes the computers act up or the internet is slow, but we manage to get the work finished. It’s a small firm, so it’s just us doing the actual work day in and day out. We’ve been at this for a bit, so we know our way around the various forms. It’s not a glamorous job, just lots of reading and typing and checking for errors. If you come by, you’ll probably see us surrounded by stacks of paper and empty tea cups. We just try to get the books right.
