Khanna Mobile & Training Institute

Our place is right on Tanki Road in Bhajanpura. It’s a mix of a shop where we fix screens and a space where we teach. We have a few benches set up with soldering irons and magnifying glasses. Students come in to learn the basics of mobile repair. It’s crowded sometimes because we have phones lying everywhere in various stages of being taken apart. We deal with cracked glass, battery issues, and software things mostly. The shop at C-174 is easy to find if you know the water tank area. We aren't a big university or anything like that. It's just hands-on training. I’ve been working on phones since the old keypad ones were popular. Now everything is touchscreens and much harder to open up without breaking something. We show the younger guys how not to lose the tiny screws. It takes a lot of patience. Sometimes the internet is slow and that makes the software jobs take longer. We have tea together in the afternoon while discussing a tricky repair. It's a basic setup but it works for what we do. We just keep busy fixing what comes through the door and showing others how to do the same. We have a couple of wooden stools for customers to sit on while they wait. The lights are bright so we can see the small circuits. It’s a bit noisy with the traffic outside but we focus on the work. People sometimes come in just to ask for directions since we're near the tank.
