Kavya Skills Foundation

Kavya Skills Foundation is at 806/1 in the K-2 Block of Mahipalpur Extension. We are on the ground floor, which makes it easy for everyone to just walk in off the street. Vasant Kunj is right there too, so it’s a good location for us. The office isn't very large, but we’ve managed to fit everything we need into the space. There’s a lot of traffic in Mahipalpur, especially with the airport so close, so there is always a hum of engines in the background. We don't mind it much anymore. We are mostly focused on training and helping people get their skills up to speed. It’s practical work, nothing too fancy or complicated. We have some old computers and a few desks that have seen better days. It doesn't matter much as long as they work. The landlord is a decent guy who lives nearby. Sometimes we have water issues, but that’s common in this part of Delhi. We just keep a bucket ready and carry on. We don't have a lot of rules about how things look, we just want to make sure the people who come to us get what they need. It’s a simple, honest way to run a foundation. We often eat our lunch outside when the weather is nice just to get some sun. It’s not perfect, but it’s our place and it works for what we do.
