We operate Kaushik Orthopaedic Pvt. Ltd. out of 23/4 Chadda Bhawan in the Shakti Nagar area. It’s a busy neighborhood, and being in Chadda Bhawan means we’re right in the middle of all the local action. Our setup is pretty simple. We have a space where we keep our orthopedic equipment and handle the administrative side of things. It’s mostly just us and the inventory. Shakti Nagar has a lot of energy, and we’ve become part of the daily routine here. We aren't a big corporation with fancy lobbies. Instead, we have a workspace that’s filled with boxes and files. Most days, we are busy answering the phone or helping someone who walked in looking for a specific type of brace or medical aid. It’s honest work. We spend a lot of time checking our stock and making sure we have what people are asking for. The building is a bit older, which gives it some character, I guess. We know the other people working in the complex and often chat with them during breaks. It’s a very local feel. We don't try to make things sound more complicated than they are. We just run our business, deal with the Delhi heat, and try to stay organized. It’s just what we do here at 23/4, and it’s been that way for a good while now, just regular folks doing our jobs.
