S. K. Traders is right in the middle of Karol Bagh at Dev Nagar. If you know this area, you know how crowded and loud it gets. Our shop is at 6550/2 in Block 9. We have been here for a long time and we’ve seen the market change quite a bit. We trade in a lot of different things depending on what people are asking for. It’s a small space and we have to use every inch of it for stock. We don't have any slick marketing or a big sales team. It is usually just us and maybe one or two guys helping out with the lifting. People come in from all over to find things in Karol Bagh. We spend a lot of our time haggling or just chatting with regular customers who have been coming to us for years. The summer heat in the narrow lanes is pretty tough but we have our fans running. We aren't trying to be a fancy showroom. It’s a working shop where we keep things simple. Sometimes it's hard to find a place to sit because of all the boxes. We just keep at it every day. It’s a busy life but it’s what we know. My father started this shop back in the nineties and I just took over when he got too old. We still use the same old wooden counter he built. It has a lot of scratches but it works fine for us.
