If you are looking for the Karma Jyot Seva Foundation, we are at 52, Ground Floor on Babar Road. We are quite close to the Bengali Market, which is a big landmark around here. It makes it easy for people to find us. Being on the ground floor is great because we don’t have to deal with stairs all day, and people can just walk right in. The office is pretty basic. We have some files, a couple of computers, and enough chairs for whoever comes by to chat. Babar Road is a nice area, usually quite busy but it has a good feel to it. We spend most of our time here just sorting through tasks and making sure the foundation’s work keeps moving forward. It’s not a high-pressure environment, just steady work. We like being near the market because it means there is always something going on nearby. Sometimes we grab tea from the local stall and talk about what needs to be done next. It’s a very human way of working. We don't have a big marketing team or anything like that. It is just us in a ground-floor room. We do what we can with what we have. It feels honest to be working right at street level where you can see the world going by. There’s no pretense here, just a simple office doing simple work for the neighborhood.
