You can find us at the Kanchenjunga building on Barakhamba Road. We're up on the 10th floor, in room 1001. It’s right in the middle of everything in New Delhi. Being in a tall building like this means we see a lot of the city, even if we’re mostly looking at spreadsheets all day. We work in the agriculture sector, which seems funny being in such a busy urban area, but this is where all the planning happens. The office isn't too large. We have some old filing cabinets and a desk that’s slightly wobbly. Most of us have been working together for quite a while now. It’s a lot of coordination with people in different states. The lift in the building sometimes takes forever, so we’ve learned to be patient. We aren't the type to wear suits and ties every day. We prefer just getting things done. Lunch usually involves someone going down to the street vendors for something quick. It’s a lot of paperwork, checking regulations, and making sure the supplies are moving correctly. Barakhamba Road is always loud with traffic, but once you’re up in the office, it’s mostly just the sound of typing and the occasional phone ringing. It’s a solid place to work from. We just focus on the task at hand and ignore all the fancy corporate stuff going on downstairs. It works for us and keeps the business moving.
