K B General Store

Our little shop is right here in Rajdhani Park, specifically at Shop No K S 7. It is not a very big store, but we try to pack in as much as we can on the shelves. You will find things like soap, lentils, packets of biscuits, and whatever else people in Nangloi usually need for their kitchens. Sometimes the aisles get a bit cramped when we get a new delivery of flour bags or oil tins, and you have to squeeze past. I’ve lived around here for years, so I know which family likes which brand of tea. We open up early and stay open until the last few people come home from the metro station nearby. The lighting isn't the brightest, and the wooden counter has seen better days, but it does the job. Usually, the kids from the street come in for some candy or a small notebook for school. We don't do anything special, just keep the stock moving and try to stay organized, even when things get messy during the festive season. The street outside can get quite dusty, so I’m always wiping down the jars. It’s just me and maybe one helper most days. We don’t have a computer system, just a thick notebook where I write down what’s running low. It’s a basic life in Rajdhani Park, just helping the locals get their daily stuff without any fuss. It keeps us busy enough most of the time.
