Johar S Education Centre

Johar S Education Centre is located at D 32 in Amar Colony, which is part of Lajpat Nagar 4. It’s a small place in a residential area of New Delhi 24. We have a couple of rooms that we’ve set up with benches and whiteboards for the kids. It’s not like a big school with a playground or a cafeteria. It’s just a place where students come to get extra help with their studies after their normal school hours. We have a lot of books on the shelves, and they are mostly a bit worn out from students using them over the years. The walls are painted a light blue, but they have some marks on them. We don't have any fancy technology or smart boards. We just use markers and pens. The teachers here are just people who enjoy explaining things. We know most of the parents in Amar Colony because they’ve been sending their children to us for a long time. It can get a bit loud when the classes change and everyone is moving around in the hallway. We have a small desk near the front door where we keep the attendance books. It’s a very simple setup. We don't spend money on big ads or brochures. Most people hear about us from their neighbors. D 32 has become a bit of a landmark for the families around here who need some tutoring.
