Janak Dulari Foundation For Humanity

So, we are based at Manoj Kumar’s place in Rishi Nagar. It is H.No-1595 and we are all the way up on the top floor. It is a bit of a climb, especially in the summer heat, but it is quiet up there. We are near the Chopal, so everyone around here knows the spot. The Janak Dulari Foundation For Humanity is what we call it. It sounds big, but we are just a small group of people working from this room. We have a view of the street from the top, which is nice when you need a break from looking at the computer. The walls could use a fresh coat of paint, and the fan makes a bit of a clicking sound, but it works fine for us. We handle stuff for humanity, just general help and organizing things for the community. Sometimes people from the neighborhood stop by to talk or ask about what we are doing. We don't have any fancy receptionists or anything like that. Usually, someone is just sitting there with a register or a laptop. It is a bit cramped when more than three people show up at once. We just do our bit every day. It is simple and we keep to ourselves mostly, just focusing on the tasks that come our way in K.M Pur. The stairs really get to you by the end of the day, but being at the top means we get a bit more breeze than the ground floor folks.
