Jain International is located at B-15/A in Guru Ram Dass Nagar, which is part of the Laxmi Nagar area. If you’ve ever been to Laxmi Nagar, you know how crowded and lively it is. Our office in Delhi-110092 is right in that mix. We don’t have a big corporate lobby. Instead, we have a simple room where a few of us sit and manage the export and import side of things. It can be a bit chaotic because the phones are always ringing and there is usually a delivery guy at the door. We don’t use any fancy management software, just some basic tools and a lot of experience. Most of us have been doing this for years, so we know how to handle the glitches that come up. The building itself is older, and the stairs are a bit steep, but it’s home for us during the work week. We drink a lot of coffee and keep the files organized as best as we can. It’s not the kind of place where people wear suits every day. We dress for the weather and the work. Sometimes we have to deal with customs issues that take all day to resolve, and we just huddle around the desk until it’s finished. We are just a local business trying to do right by the people we work for. It’s straightforward and unpretentious here. We just keep our heads down and finish the day’s tasks.
