Jai Kavita Foundation

Jai Kavita Foundation is situated in B-Block of Hari Enclave-1, which is part of Kirari Suleman Nagar. It’s a part of Delhi that feels more like a community than a city sometimes. Our address is B-61-B, and it’s just a normal building in a residential street. We don’t have any big neon signs or anything to show we’re here. Most people just know us by word of mouth in the neighborhood. The office is basically just a couple of rooms where we keep our records and meet up. It’s a bit dusty sometimes because of the construction work that always seems to be happening nearby, but we keep it tidy enough. Working here means you’re part of the daily life of Kirari. You see the vegetable sellers going by and the kids heading to school. We aren't trying to be some big corporate entity. We are just a group of people who wanted to set something up right where we live. We spend a lot of time just talking to folks from the area and seeing what's going on. The furniture is a bit mismatched, and the ceiling fan makes a clicking sound, but it feels like home to us. We just take things one day at a time and try to stay useful. It’s not complicated, and we like it that way. Just a small foundation in a busy corner of Delhi trying to do its bit.
