Being on the seventh floor gives us a decent look at the other office buildings nearby. The elevators in this building are always packed in the morning, so some of us just wait for the rush to die down before heading up. It’s a typical commercial complex with lots of glass and concrete. Inside 705, it’s just a standard office. We have a long table where we do most of our meetings and a small pantry where we keep the kettle and some biscuits. Bhikaji Cama Place is a very busy hub. You see people in suits and delivery boys running around all day long. The parking lot is always a nightmare, so we usually tell people to take the metro if they can. Our space is functional and nothing too special to look at. We have some maps of the city pinned to the walls and a few potted plants that we sometimes forget to water. Usually there is someone around to talk about the latest news or just to grab a quick coffee before the afternoon starts up again. It feels like a real workspace, not a showroom. We’ve been at this address for a bit, and we know the security guards.
