J D Sharma & Co is situated right by the Patiala House Courts. Our office number is 269. It’s very close to the SDM Gallery. Being near the courts means it’s always busy around here. You see lawyers and people in a hurry all day long. We’ve been at this spot for quite a bit. It’s a practical location for the kind of work we do. The office itself is quite small and filled with books and legal files. There isn't much room for anything else. We spend a lot of time reading through documents and preparing things for court. It’s a noisy area with all the cars and people talking outside. Sometimes we have to go over to the court buildings ourselves. We aren't a big firm, just a few of us working together. The desks are usually covered in papers. We try to keep some order, but it’s hard when things move fast. People come to see us mostly because they have something going on at the court. We talk to them and try to figure out the best way forward. It’s a lot of work and long hours sometimes. We usually grab tea from the stalls nearby when we get a break. Patiala House is a landmark, so finding us isn't too difficult for most folks who know the city. We’ve become a regular part of the scene here over many years of doing this work.
