Intex Technologies India Pvt Ltd

Our office is located in Okhla Industrial Estate Phase II, at building D 18/2. This part of Okhla is a bit different from Phase I, maybe a little more spread out but still very noisy and busy. The building is a solid, grey block of a place with a heavy iron gate at the front. Intex Technologies India Pvt Ltd has its operations running from here, and it’s usually quite a hum of activity from the moment we open up in the morning. There are a lot of cardboard boxes stacked in the loading area most days, waiting to be moved. Inside, the layout is pretty basic with rows of simple desks and some partitioned areas for the different teams to sit. The light comes in through the high windows, but we mostly rely on the bright overhead tubes. It gets very hot in the summer out in the parking yard, so we try to stay inside as much as possible with the air units running. The tea lady comes around twice a day with a tray, and that’s usually when everyone takes a quick five-minute break to talk about their families or the news. We have been at D 18/2 for a long time, so the security guards at the gate know all of us by our names. It’s a very practical, hardworking environment. There isn't any fancy art on the walls or expensive rugs. It’s just a place where we come to put in our hours and get things sorted out.
