Our office and training space is down on the ground floor at 111/9 in Kishan Garh, which is part of the Vasant Kunj area in South West Delhi. Being on the ground floor is actually pretty helpful for us at the Institute Of Bartending Management Private Limited because we often have to bring in supplies and it saves us from carrying things up stairs. It’s a practical setup where we spend most of our time showing people the ropes of how to handle a bar and manage the business side of things. Kishan Garh is a busy little pocket of the city, so there’s always something going on right outside the door. Inside, it’s mostly just us and the students working with the gear. We aren't trying to be a fancy corporate school; it’s more of a place where you get your hands dirty and learn by doing. The space is used for everything from paperwork to actual practice. We’ve been in this Vasant Kunj spot for a while now and most people in the neighborhood know where we are. It’s a straightforward operation. We have a few rooms set up for different parts of the training. When you walk in, you can tell right away that it’s a working environment. We keep our hours regular and there is usually someone around if a student needs to ask a question or check on their schedule. It’s just how we run things here.
