Indian Spinal Injuries Centre

The Indian Spinal Injuries Centre is located over in Sector C of Vasant Kunj. We’re right across from Vasant Valley School, which is a big landmark for anyone trying to find us. It’s a busy area, especially when school lets out, but inside the center, things are a bit more focused. We deal with some pretty tough situations here, mostly people who have hurt their backs or necks in accidents. It’s a lot of rehab and long days of physical therapy. The building is large, but it doesn't feel like those cold, empty hospitals you see in movies. There’s always someone moving around, whether it’s a patient in a wheelchair or a nurse heading to their next shift. We’ve been here in Vasant Kunj for quite some time, and we’ve seen a lot of people come through those doors. Some stay for a long time, others just come for checkups. It’s a lot of hard work for the staff and the patients too. We don’t have much time for fancy speeches; we just focus on getting people back on their feet or helping them adapt. The garden area is a nice spot for a break if the sun isn't too hot. You see a lot of grit and determination in this place every day. It’s not always easy, but we just keep at it because the work needs doing. Vasant Kunj is a good home for the center.
