Indian Spinal Injuries Centre

We have been at House No 47 in Gali Khali Ram for a good bit of time now. Mahipalpur is a crowded area, but we’ve made our home here in New Delhi. Indian Spinal Injuries Centre is what people call us. We deal with some pretty heavy stuff here, mostly people who have hurt their backs or have trouble moving. It’s not an easy job, but the staff here just gets on with it. The building is tucked away in the lane. We have patients coming from all over because this kind of work is specific. You’ll see wheelchairs and people doing their exercises if you walk through the halls. It’s a bit noisy outside with the Delhi traffic, but inside we try to keep it focused. We aren't some big corporate hospital with glass elevators. It feels more like a place where real work happens. Sometimes the days are long, especially when the ward is full. We see a lot of families coming in and out, looking worried or relieved. Our address is easy enough to find once you get into the main part of Mahipalpur. We’ve been part of this neighborhood for years. Every morning starts the same way, checking on everyone and making sure the equipment is ready. It's just what we do here in Delhi, nothing more and nothing less than that. People count on the doors being open.
