Indian Plumbing Skills Council Pvt. Ltd. is based over in the Okhla Industrial Area, specifically Phase 1 in the Dda Sheds at B-168/169. It’s an industrial setting through and through. We spend our days thinking about pipes, fittings, and the technical side of plumbing. It might not sound like the most exciting thing to everyone, but it’s essential work that keeps buildings running. Our space here isn’t about looking pretty; it’s about having enough room for training and demonstrations. We’ve got a lot of equipment laid out, and it’s usually a bit noisy with people practicing their skills. The Dda Sheds have a lot of history, and we’re glad to be part of the activity here. We don’t do big speeches or use complicated words. We just show people how to do the job right. Sometimes the water pressure in the building acts up, which is ironic given what we do, but we just fix it and keep going. We see a lot of hard-working people coming in to get better at their craft. It’s a down-to-earth environment where people aren't afraid to get their hands wet. We don’t have a fancy lobby with a receptionist; usually, you just walk in and find someone busy with a wrench or a blueprint. We’re just a practical organization trying to make sure the plumbing trade stays strong and professional in our own small way.
