Indian Oil Institute Of Petrolium Management

Our place is over in Arjunnagar, which is part of the Kotla Mubarakpur area. It’s one of those parts of Delhi where everything is packed together tightly. You’ve got shops, houses, and offices all on top of each other. We focus on petroleum management here, mostly training and administrative work. The building is functional. It’s got rooms for classes and some office space for the staff. It’s not a shiny new tower. The walls could probably use a fresh coat of paint, but they hold up the roof just fine. We spend our days going through manuals and talking about how things should run in the oil industry. It’s a lot of technical talk. Lunchtimes are usually spent getting food from the local stalls nearby because the food there is actually pretty good and cheap. The street outside is always narrow and crowded with scooters. It’s a bit chaotic, but that’s just how it is in this part of town. We don’t try to act like we’re in some fancy business district. We’re just here in the middle of a real neighborhood doing our work. It’s a solid place with a lot of history in these walls. We come in, do our bit for the petroleum sector, and head home when the day is done. It is a very practical way to spend the work week and we like the routine.
