Indian Gemological Institute

We are located at Shopplot No 1 in Pandav Nagar, which is right across from the Mother Dairy on Pat Par Ganj Road in Delhi. Our name is Indian Gemological Institute. Being right opposite the Mother Dairy makes it easy for people to find us because everyone knows that landmark. We spend our days looking at stones and minerals under the lights. The office is small and usually filled with a lot of technical equipment. It’s a bit of a dusty area outside with all the traffic on Pat Par Ganj Road, but we keep it clean inside for the work. The pin code is 110092. We are not a jewelry store with gold and diamonds on display for sale. We are more of a lab where we check things out. It’s a quiet job mostly, very different from the noise of the Delhi streets outside our door. We’ve been in Pandav Nagar for a good while. The staff here are just regular people who know a lot about rocks. We don’t have a big lobby or fancy chairs for people to sit in. It’s a working lab through and through. Sometimes the power goes out and we have to wait for the generator, but that’s just life in Delhi. We just do our testing and give people the facts about what they brought in. It is a very technical and specific way to spend the day.
