Imdad Ms Foundation

Our office is near Sadar Bazar, specifically at 7231. If you've ever been to Sadar Bazar, you know it's one of the busiest markets in North Delhi. It’s chaotic, loud, and always moving. We are right in the thick of it. The building is old, like most things in this part of Delhi 110006. We don’t have much space, so we have to be clever with how we stack our supplies. There’s always someone coming or going. The foundation is run by a few of us who have been around this area for years. We know the shopkeepers and the regulars. It feels like a community. The office itself is pretty basic. We have a couple of fans that rattle a bit, and the lighting isn't the best in the back room. But it’s where we do everything. We don't have a receptionist or a fancy waiting room. If you come by, you just walk in and talk to whoever is free. We spend a lot of time on the phone or writing things down in ledgers. It’s old-fashioned in some ways, but it works for us. North Delhi has a specific energy, and we just go with the flow of it. We aren't looking to be famous or big; we just want to finish our work and head home through the market crowds. We usually keep some biscuits in the drawer for when the afternoon hunger kicks in.
