We are located up on the 4th floor of the ICSI House, which you can find at number 22 in the Institutional Area on Lodi Road. It is a pretty well-known spot in New Delhi, though the building itself feels a bit like any other professional block once you are inside. Our days are mostly spent dealing with the paperwork and various files for social auditors. It is a very specific type of work, so it is usually quiet in the office except for the sound of typing or someone on a phone call. We have been here for a while and the office has that lived-in feel, with stacks of documents and various guides sitting on the desks. We don't have any fancy furniture or a modern lobby with a coffee bar. It is just a practical space where we can focus on the technical details of the social sector. Sometimes the elevator in the building takes a bit too long, so we end up taking the stairs if we are in a hurry. The staff is just a small group of people who know the rules and regulations quite well. We don't do much in the way of advertising. Usually, people find us because they need to for their professional requirements. We have a routine of starting the day with some tea and going through the mail. It is a steady, predictable environment where we just get through the tasks that need doing.
