At I P E C Ghaziabad, we operate out of a space managed by Manoj Sharma, which is located C/O Randhir Singh in the Duhai area. Ghaziabad is a busy place, and Duhai has its own particular energy with all the development going on in Uttar Pradesh. The office isn't anything elaborate; it’s just a practical space where we handle our daily administrative and academic-related work. There are a lot of papers, old registers, and a few computers that stay on most of the day. The area outside can get quite loud with the traffic on the main roads nearby, but we’ve gotten used to the noise over time. We have a small area where we keep a kettle for making tea during the afternoons. It’s a local setup, so we don't have a reception desk or a waiting lounge. If someone needs to see us, they just come in and find a chair. We spend a lot of time talking to people and sorting through records. It’s a bit of a traditional way of working, but it suits the environment here in Duhai. The walls could probably use a fresh coat of paint, and the furniture is a bit mismatched, but it serves its purpose for what we do at I P E C. We’re just a small part of the landscape here, doing our work without making much of a fuss about it. The local bus stop is just a short walk away from the gate.
