Hs-Books Harbor

Our shop, Hs-Books Harbor, is tucked away in Hari Sadan on Ansari Road. If you know Darya Ganj, you know how busy it gets, especially with the fire station right across from us. We deal with books every single day. It’s a lot of lifting heavy boxes and sorting through stacks that never seem to get smaller. The space at F-12 isn't huge, so we have to be smart about where we put things. Sometimes the aisles get narrow when a new shipment comes in. We’ve been at this spot for a good while. It smells like old paper and ink in here, which is something you just get used to. People come in looking for all sorts of titles. Some are regulars who know exactly where to go, others just wander in because they were passing by the fire station. We don't really do much advertising. Most people find us because we’ve been here in Delhi 110002 for years. It’s a bit dusty, and the fans make a bit of noise, but it’s a decent place to work. We spend our mornings checking lists and the afternoons helping customers find what they need. It's not a flashy bookstore with a cafe or anything, just shelves and shelves of books. We try to keep things organized, but in a place like Darya Ganj, a little bit of mess is almost expected. We are just a local bookstore doing our thing.
