Hlw Welfare Foundation

We are based out of Raipur Bingawan, specifically in the Tola-Balwan area. It’s a village setting, so things are a bit different here than in the big city. The foundation is run right from where we live, with Ramesh Sah and the rest of the group. It’s not an office with fancy furniture; it’s more of a community space where people can drop by when they need something. We spend a lot of time talking to the locals and figuring out what needs to be done in the village. Life here moves at its own pace. Sometimes we’re out in the fields or walking through the lanes to meet folks. Hlw Welfare Foundation is basically just a few of us trying to be useful to the people around us. There’s a lot of manual record-keeping and simple face-to-face communication. We don't have a website or anything like that usually, just our presence here in the Tola. The dust and the sun are part of the daily routine. We don't use big words to describe what we do because it’s just plain work. If someone has a problem, they know where to find us. It’s a small operation, very grassroots. We don't have much in the way of equipment, just the basics to keep things moving. It feels right to be working in the same place where we grew up and where everyone knows our names. We just take it slow and handle things as they come.
