Our spot is at Plot No.Ms/12 in Hari Nagar, which is right in the Mayapuri area. We’re very close to the Hari Nagar Bus Stop, so it’s easy for the guys to get to work every day. Mayapuri is known for being a bit of an industrial hub, and we fit right in with all the metal and machinery around here. It’s a loud neighborhood, but we don’t mind it. Our yard is usually full of heavy equipment, and there’s always a layer of dust on everything. That’s just the way it goes when you’re working with cranes. We aren’t big on fancy office chairs or air conditioning that works all the time. We’d rather be outside making sure the machines are ready for the next lift. It’s a straightforward way to make a living. We’ve been at this plot for a long time, and the locals know us as the place with the big yellow machines. We don’t do any of that corporate talk because it sounds fake—we just do the job we said we’d do and hope that’s enough. Most of the time it is. We deal with all sorts of weather, from the heat to the rain, and just keep moving. It’s a bit messy and chaotic sometimes, but we know where everything is. You won't find any glossy brochures here, just people who know how to move heavy things without making a fuss about it.
