Higher Secondary School Poliakala

Our school, Higher Secondary School Poliakala, is actually on the D-7, Lower Ground Floor along the Ring Road in South Extension 2. Being in a lower ground floor space means we don't get much of a view of the outside, but it keeps us a bit away from the direct noise of the heavy traffic on the Ring Road. South Ex is a fancy area, but our school is a very practical, down-to-earth place. We don't have any of the glitz you see in the shops nearby. It’s mostly just rows of benches, some whiteboards, and a lot of books. The address 110049 is well-known, and most people can find us if they look for the D-7 sign. We spend our days managing the classes and making sure everything runs on time. The lighting inside is all artificial since we are downstairs, but we’ve made it comfortable enough for the students. It can get a bit cramped when everyone is in at the same time, but we make it work. The staff is just a small group of local people who know the area well. We don’t have a big marketing budget or anything like that. We just focus on the daily lessons and the paperwork that comes with running a higher secondary school in Delhi. Sometimes the air conditioning struggles with the Delhi heat, but we just manage like everyone else does. It’s a busy, functional spot.
