Higher Secondary School Pohari

We are located on the Main Ring Road in Model Town 1. It’s a very busy spot, and the traffic never really stops, so there is always a low hum of engines in the background of our classrooms. Higher Secondary School Pohari has been at this Delhi - 110009 address for quite some time. The building is right there on the main stretch, so it’s easy for the students to reach by bus. We don't have a lot of greenery or a massive playground; it’s more of an urban school where space is tight. The staff usually arrives early to beat the worst of the Ring Road congestion. Our day starts with the sound of the gate opening and ends with the final bell that everyone waits for. We don’t have any polished corporate mission or anything like that. We are just here to teach and make sure the school stays in one piece. The walls have some charts stuck on them and the furniture is the sturdy, wooden kind that lasts for decades. Model Town is a nice area, but being right on the road means we get a lot of dust, so cleaning is a never-ending task. We have a small office where we handle all the admissions and queries. It’s usually cluttered with books and files. We like the neighborhood, and the local shops nearby are where we get our daily supplies. It’s just a regular, everyday school.
