Heritage International School

Heritage International School is over at 475, Azadpur Village, on the New Railway Road. Being near the railway means there is always a bit of a rumble in the background, but we have all gotten used to it. The school is a large building that has seen many students come and go over the years. We are right in the middle of Azadpur, which is a very active part of Delhi. Our school is not a polished, corporate place. It is a building that belongs to the local village and the families here. We have classrooms for all the different grades and a space where the kids can spend their breaks. It takes a lot of effort to keep everything clean and organized, especially with so many children running around. We don't have any fancy mission statements or marketing slogans. We just show up every day and do the job of teaching. Most of our staff have been here for a long time, so we know the families in the area well. The New Railway Road is always busy with trucks and commuters, but once the school gates are shut, we just focus on the day's lessons. It is a very practical, hardworking atmosphere. We are just a local school providing a place for the kids in Azadpur Village to get their education. It is not always perfect, but it is real and it is what we do.
