Harvest The Concept School

Harvest The Concept School is tucked away on the third floor of Building No-2 in Hauz Khas Village. If you’ve ever been to Hauz Khas, you know it’s a maze of narrow lanes, old buildings, and a lot of creative energy all mixed together. Being on the third floor means we are a bit removed from the constant hustle of the street level, but you can still hear the activity and music from below. The school isn't very large because space in the village is always tight, so we use every corner we have available. It’s a bit of a climb up the stairs to get to us, but once you’re here, it’s a dedicated space for teaching. We mostly work with students on specific concepts and subjects, which is how we got our name. The rooms are kept simple, with boards and desks and not much else to distract. Because of where we are located, we get a mix of people coming in and out. The windows look out over the rooftops of the village, which is a pretty nice view during our breaks. It gets a bit hot in the afternoons during the summer, but we have fans to keep the air moving around the rooms. Our staff is used to the quirkiness of working in a place like Hauz Khas. We don’t have a playground or a big hall, so we just focus on the classroom work. It’s a very urban kind of school, fitting into the existing structures.
