We've been here at Saket for a while now. The office is over at Paryavaran Complex, right on Ignou Road, No E 6/1 on the first floor. It’s usually pretty busy downstairs with the shops and cars, but upstairs we just focus on the drawings. It’s mostly just us sitting around large tables covered in blueprints and sketches. Sometimes it gets a bit messy with all the paper everywhere. People come in to talk about their gardens or small backyard projects they want to fix up. We spend a lot of time looking at maps and figuring out where trees should go. It’s not a fancy place, just a workspace where we get things done. The light coming in from the window is decent in the mornings. Most days are spent on the phone with contractors or trying to find a specific pen that someone lost under a pile of site plans. We keep a few potted plants around since that’s the kind of work we do, though keeping them alive inside is sometimes harder than the actual jobs. We know the neighborhood well and the local chai guy knows our order by now. It is just a regular office where we try to make things look a bit better outside. There isn’t much to it, just honest work and lots of coffee to keep us going through the afternoons when the heat picks up.
