Haribhakti Co Chartered Accountants

We’ve been here at Samay Vihar Apartments for quite a while now. It’s a quiet enough spot in New Delhi, mostly residential, which makes for a different kind of workday than being in a big glass office tower downtown. People usually come to us at Haribhakti Co Chartered Accountants when they have tax troubles or need their audits sorted out before the deadlines hit. Most days the desks are piled high with files and there is a lot of calculator clicking going on. We spend most of our time staring at spreadsheets or explaining complicated tax rules to people who just want to know how much they owe. It isn't always exciting, but it’s important work that needs doing. Sometimes the power goes out or the printer jams right when we're in a hurry, and that’s just how it goes here. Our office at 28 D is easy enough to find once you get inside the gates. We have a small tea kettle that stays busy all afternoon. Most of the staff has been here for years, so we all know each other's habits and how we take our chai. It’s just us working through the numbers and trying to make sense of the new regulations that seem to change every other month. We don't have fancy receptionists or leather sofas, just metal filing cabinets and enough chairs for whoever stops by. It gets busy during tax season, but we manage to get through it every year.
