Hansraj Foundation For Lands Oceans And Wetlands Sustainability

We're based over here at Harcharan Bagh, right near the Andheria More in Mehrauli. It’s on the second floor of Kh No. 773. Mostly we just focus on the ground-level stuff that matters for the environment. You know, looking after lands and the water. The city gets crowded and it's easy to forget about the wetlands or how the oceans are doing far away. We started this because there's just so much work to do in New Delhi and beyond. It’s not always easy keeping things going from a small office, but we show up every day. We handle a lot of the paperwork and the planning for local projects right here. Sometimes the traffic outside gets loud, but we stay focused on the soil and the water. We aren't doing anything fancy or flashy. It's just a group of us trying to make sure the natural world doesn't get paved over completely. We spend a lot of time talking about how to keep things sustainable for the long haul. It's hard work, and sometimes we wonder if we're doing enough, but we keep at it. If you're around Mehrauli, you probably know the area. It’s a busy spot but we like it here. We just want to see more green and less waste. That's pretty much what we do at the Hansraj Foundation. We're just regular people trying to look after the planet starting from our own little corner in Delhi. We hope people notice the small changes we make.
