Hands Two Help India Foundation

We are the Hands Two Help India Foundation. Our office is Flat Number 203, located at 4-36-9 in Ithanagar. It’s an apartment building, so it feels more like a home than a sterile business office. We’ve set up our desks in the main room of the flat. It can get a little crowded when everyone is here at once, but we manage. We’ve been in Ithanagar for a while and we’ve gotten used to the rhythm of the building. We see the same neighbors in the stairwell every day. Our work is mostly handled right from this flat. We have our files stacked up and the phone rings pretty often. We aren't a massive organization with a huge budget. We just use what we have to keep things moving. Most of our days are spent on the computer or talking to people over the phone. We don't have a big lobby for visitors. If someone comes by, we just pull up an extra chair. It’s a very informal environment. We think that helps keep things honest and straightforward. We don't have a dress code or anything like that. We just show up and get to work on whatever the foundation needs that day. It’s a practical way to run things. We like being part of the community here in this part of town. It’s just us doing our part from a small flat.
