Gupta Metal Corporation

Our yard is located at 1/5071, Street No-2 in Main Balbir Nagar. Shahdara is a busy area, and our street is no exception. We deal with metal, so things can get pretty loud around here. There is usually the sound of clanging or trucks idling nearby. We have a lot of stock sitting around, and it changes every day. Some days we are moving heavy pipes, and other days it's smaller fittings. We don't have a fancy office. Most of the business happens right out in the open or in a small shed we have set up. Our hands are usually dirty by ten in the morning. We don't wear suits or anything like that. Work boots and sturdy shirts are more our style. We have a small crew, and we’ve all worked together for a long time, so we don't need to say much to get the job done. We just know the rhythm of the place. We get people coming in from all over the neighborhood looking for bits and pieces for their projects. We try to help them find what they need without making a big deal out of it. It’s a basic operation, but it’s been here for years. We just take it one day at a time and try to keep the inventory moving as best as we can without too much fuss.
