Gulab Higher Secondary School Kotma

You can find us at House No 962 on Street No 30 in the Jaffrabad area of Delhi. It is a very crowded part of the city and there is always something happening outside our doors. Gulab Higher Secondary School Kotma is right in the middle of all that noise and life. The school is basically a large house that we have converted into classrooms for the older students to use. It is a bit of a maze inside with different rooms and narrow hallways connecting them all. We have many kids from the local streets who come here for their secondary education. The walls are painted a simple color and we have some charts and posters made by the students hanging up on the walls. Street 30 is famous for being busy so we have to keep the main door closed to keep some of the sound out while the teachers are talking. We don't have a lot of extra space for things like a big library or a gym. We just have the rooms where the students sit and learn from their teachers. It is a tough environment sometimes because it gets hot and the street is so loud but the students are used to it by now. We just try to get the syllabus finished every year and help the kids pass their exams. It is a neighborhood school through and through and everyone around here knows where we are.
