Green Land International School

If you go down Chaudhary Hukam Singh Marg and turn into Gali No-3, you’ll find us. Sadatpur is a crowded part of Delhi, and Green Land International School is tucked right into the heart of it. The 110094 area has a lot of narrow lanes, so things can get a bit tight when everyone is arriving at once. Our school building isn't the tallest in the lane, but it's where we do all our work. The courtyard is small, but the kids still find ways to run around during their lunch break. We keep our records in big metal cupboards in the main office. There’s always someone at the gate checking who comes in and out because the lane stays so busy with local traffic. We don’t have much in the way of gardens, just a few pots near the entrance that we try to keep watered. Inside, the rooms are painted a simple color and we have charts pinned to the walls. You can hear the sound of bikes passing by outside while the teachers are reading out loud. It’s a very local feel here. Everyone knows everyone else's name in this part of Sadatpur. We just show up, open the doors, and get to work with the students. It’s been our routine for a long time now and we don’t see that changing anytime soon.
