Gramin Udyami Navachar Council

Gramin Udyami Navachar Council is based at D-9 on the first floor in Rajdhani Park, which is part of the Nangloi area in New Delhi. We are here in care of Manjur Hassain, whose name is on the main records for this location. Rajdhani Park is a busy place with a lot of small shops and people moving around at all hours. Being on the first floor is convenient because it is just a short walk up, and we can easily see who is coming into the building. The office is pretty simple, with a few desks shoved against the walls and some cupboards for all our files. Nangloi is quite far out for some people, but it’s a very active part of the city with a lot of energy. The building at D-9 isn't anything special to look at, just a typical brick and concrete structure like the others on the street. We have some basic chairs for when visitors come by, and there is usually a pot of water in the corner. The street outside can get quite muddy when it rains, so we try to keep the floors inside as clean as we can. It’s a practical place for us to work from. We know most of the shopkeepers on the ground floor, and there’s a good spot nearby where we get our samosas in the afternoon. It is just our little corner of Rajdhani Park.
